The Eastern Boot Damascus Knife Kit is a hidden tang knife blank built for makers who appreciate compact performance and traditional style. Made in the USA from high-quality carbon steel Damascus, this fixed blade features a sleek upswept trailing point design that’s ideal for boot carry, hunting kits, or custom concealment knives. Precision-hollow ground on both sides, this blade blank is ready for custom finishing and handle installation.
The blade measures 3.812 inches in length and spans a total overall length of 6.812 inches. At 0.875 inches wide, it offers excellent control and cutting performance in a compact package. This hidden tang design includes no pre-drilled holes, giving the builder complete freedom over pin placement and assembly. A 0.187-inch stainless steel pinstock is included for your handle construction, and the 0.312-inch tang width allows for modification with a wide range of pinstock or threaded fasteners.
Forged with a 416-layer Damascus configuration using a blend of 52100, 5160, 203E, and 15n20 steels and folded five times, this blade delivers visual depth and reliable strength. It is heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 56–58 RC for dependable edge retention and durability.
